Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already landed in the UK with their two children. Naturally, fans of the royal family are very worried about what their visit will turn out to be for relatives. And Camilla Parker-Bowles worries the most. Harry is still able to maintain friendly relations with his brother Prince William, but he cannot stand his father’s wife.
This was told to journalists by insiders. Everyone knew about the not-so-best relationship between Harry and Camilla for a long time, but the situation escalated in February of this year when Elizabeth II called on the British to call Parker Bowles the Queen Consort after Prince Charles ascended the throne.
“Charles has been doing everything possible for years to improve Camille’s public image. Yes, and she herself has worked tirelessly for the past 16 years in order for the British to accept her after the tragic story of Princess Diana,” the insider emphasized, adding that the couple still managed to raise the rating of the Duchess of Cornwall.
“But not with Harry. He will never be able to love or accept her because he remembers that it was Diana, his mother, who was supposed to become queen consort, and Camilla will forever remain the woman who caused their divorce,” added the insider. Journalists suggest that the absence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the balcony during the Trooping the Color parade may well be for the best.
The military ceremony will mark the beginning of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which will continue until Sunday. However, Harry – who landed in the UK on Wednesday with his wife and two young children to celebrate his grandmother’s 70th birthday – will still be watching from the sidelines. Things are more fractious now that the Queen has given her blessing for Camilla, 74, to be named “Queen Consort” when Prince Charles, 73, becomes King.
