Euphoria's Character Elliot Could Be Killed Off Any Second -

Euphoria is one of the biggest TV show’s in the world right now. At HBO, it comes in at second place in terms of their most watched show, beaten only by Game Of Thrones. Keep in mind though that Game of Thrones had up to 8 seasons while Euphoria just got green lit for its third, so, the viewership battle still very much hangs in the balance.

The show is about the lives of a bunch of high school students as they traverse through the ups and downs of life, whilst dealing with themes like drugs, relationships, and abuse. One of the primary reasons that the show has gained so much popularity is due to its amazing characters, both main and supporting and one of the fan favorite supporting characters is a boy named Elliot played by Dominic Fike. The character was introduced in the very first episode of season 2 of the show. There is not much known about the character as of yet but fans are already very attached with some fans insisting that there could be much more done with him and so far the show hasn’t explored all the possibilities.

Whether these possibilities will be explored cannot be said since Fike, the actor who plays Elliot, may or may not be intending to leave the show. Before his episodes of Euphoria were released, Fike, who is also a musician, was planning to leave acting in favor of pursuing music. When creator of the show Sam Levinson found about this, he wanted to make sure that Fike would not feel trapped in the role and told Fike that should he ever choose to leave the show, Levinson will kill his character off.

At the moment, Fike has confirmed that Elliot’s character will be returning to the show in season 3 but how long the character will stay is anyone’s guess. The show’s final episode in season 2 included the death of a beloved character with the fans named Ashtray, making it clear that this show has no inclination to follow a predictable story line. Hence, Elliot’s future in the show, at least for the moment, remains a mystery.
