Star of the film adaptation of Marvel comics ” Shan-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ” Michelle Yeoh considers the sequel to the science fiction film ” Avatar ” brilliant and admits that she is ready for any job that director James Cameron offers her.
“I’m doing the Avatar sequels, and as you can imagine, we can’t talk much about it. But it’s James Cameron! Really! I could serve tea for James Cameron! We’ve been filming for weeks, and I was so impressed with the work he did, the work he does all the time, his energy.. he is a genius, he is a living genius.. and I really enjoyed the experience. I hope I cant wait to be back in this world soon “, – admitted the actress.
Given Yeoh’s comments, it seems likely that her character could reappear if Avatar 4 and Avatar 5 are given the green light. Earlier, Cameron himself spoke about why many scenes of the second and third films were shot at the same time.
“We mixed the schedules based on the types of scenes and environments. I said let’s just treat it like it’s a six-hour mini-series. That was more or less the main motive. The availability of the actors was also an issue. Everything that was needed was to do with a specific actor, which we did for parts 2 and 3 and a bit for part 4. As for the kids, they are allowed to grow up six years in the middle of the story,” he said.
