Doctor Strange poster changed due to an offensive gesture -

Posters for Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness have been edited in Italy. It turned out that one of the gestures of the protagonist could seem offensive to Italian viewers, FAN reports.

In the poster, Benedict Cumberbatch’s hand folds into a horn gesture. In most countries, it is interpreted as a rock sign, but it means a person who is cheating on his lover for Italian viewers.

In Italy, such an insult is considered quite serious. Therefore, it was decided to make changes to the poster.

Disney’s acquisition of Fox in 2019 could feature everything from mutations in the Multiverse of Madness and a Multiverse Illuminati to a Superior Iron Man, a Villain Scarlett Witch, and Loki, The Good of Mischief. Properly covered, it will withstand a great deal of adverse conditions.

It remains to be seen whether Strange himself will be at peace, a rock ‘n’ roll, or something else when Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness premieres in theaters on May 6.

Earlier it became known that the series “The Crown” could get a prequel.
