Snoop Dogg Just Bought Death Row Records -

Snoop Dogg has just bought Death Row Records. Check out the available information on this issue below.

The Shade Room notes that Snoop ‘is officially going home to the label that started his legendary career! It was just announced that after closing the deal, Snoop Dogg has now acquired Death Row Records, in conjunction with his new album titled ‘B.O.D.R.’ which is short for ‘Bacc On Death Row.’’

TSR also said: ‘According to @HollywoodReporter, Snoop Dogg’s career has officially come full circle, as now he has acquired the label that made him one of the most iconic figures in the hip hop industry. Snoop acquired his former record label Death Row from MNRK Music Group, which is a firm controlled by private equity funds managed by Blackstone. The timing of the deal is apparently intentional because Snoop also has a new album releasing soon titled ‘B.O.D.R.,’ an acronym for ‘Bacc On Death Row.’’

TSR notes: ‘Speaking about the major ownership deal of his former label, Snoop Dogg had this to say: “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me. would like to personally thank the teams at Blackstone, MNRK and especially David Kestnbaum, who worked collaboratively with me over several months to make this exciting homecoming a reality.” You may recall that back in 2006, Death Row Records filed for bankruptcy.’

Someone else said: ‘Hope he sign some artist that’s going to make classics rather than trashy music.’

A commenter posted this: ‘Still remember when Suge said “Snoop used to a rapper, now he a No Limit Soldier” beat he’s in his cell punching the wall.’

One other follower said: ‘Any artist out there that want to be an artist and stay a star, and don’t have to worry about the executive producer trying to be all in the videos, all on the record, dancing… COME TO DEATH ROW.’

Stay tuned for more juicy news and to see what more Snoop decides to do next.
