Gabrielle Union Is Praising An Important Pioneer And Friend, Tarana J. Burke -

Gabrielle Union just praised Tarana J. Burke. Check out the emotional message that she shared on her social media account below.

‘Today’s #WCW is the true definition of a pioneer, and I am proud to call her my friend… @taranajaneen. I was lucky enough to spend the other day with her chatting about both our books, live from D.C., and each time I am in her presence – I swear I get stronger, smarter, and more inspired,’ Gaby said.

‘She is the Founder of the #MeToo movement, and within starting that, gave a voice to the voiceless and allowed for the healing and equality of so many suffering in silence. Time named her “Person of the Year,” and she has been dubbed a “silence breaker.” I am a better woman for knowing her. Make sure to get a copy of her book “Unbound.” Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there,’ Gabrielle captioned her post.

Someone said: ‘Love her. Relate to her. Proud of her. Being a Black woman, especially one with what’s considered classic African features (dark skin, natural hair, etc.), means audaciously loving yourself and our diverse community, even when the rest of the world does not. Not easy but doable. #supportBlackwomen #Blackwomenareourfuture.’

One other follower said: ‘Whew, she was giving several words in this clip,’ and a fan posted this: ‘Keep shining, Ma! I keep telling people we are living in the Golden Age Of Stupidity!!’

Someone else said: ‘Y’all were amazing last night in DC. The youth needed that safe safe. Love,’ and a commenter posted this: ‘Im gonna be featured as one of @gabunion WCW one day… wait on it!’

Gabrielle Union is promoting health and you can check out the post that she shared on her social media account below. Here’s her message and clip.

‘Tap twice to show your heart for health. Help protect your children with their recommended vaccinations and schedule a well-visit today. #VaccinateYourFamily #DontSkipVaccines #MerckPartner,’ Gabrielle said.
