Now that the court has decided to release him, the women’s rights lawyer representing dozens of Cosby’s accusers, Gloria Allred, released a statement via USA Today in which she acknowledged that this decision ‘must be devastating’ to all his victims.

However, she wanted to make it very clear that the court’s decision means, in no way, that Cosby has been found innocent of his terrible deeds.

‘Despite the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision, this was still an important fight for justice and even though the court overturned the conviction on technical grounds, it didn’t vindicate Bill Cosby’s conduct and shouldn’t be interpreted as a finding that he didn’t engage in the acts of which he’s been accused.’

Furthermore, the Montgomery County district attorney who initially convicted the disgraced actor, Kevin Steele, also shared via the same outlet that he ‘now goes free on a procedural issue that is irrelevant to the facts of the crime. And that other part of me, he’s just got to be here and we’ve just got to work together until eventually he [has to work out] the trauma and all of the kinks get rubbed out of him, and he’s OK. I made it about my evil and my fear, and she comforted me. And then it took about 20 minutes of us separately reading our books just to be able to come back to her and be like, ‘God, that was a whole thing and I’m really sorry.”

So I didn’t touch a guitar for ages. Actually when Lyra was born, that’s when I picked it up again and started singing to her,’ Ed dished.

Erica Mena filed for divorce from him back in May.

In the documents, she stated that they had already been living in a ‘bona fide state of separation’ and insisted that their marriage was ‘irretrievably broken’ and there was ‘no hope of reconciliation.’

As far as their 17 month old daughter, Safire Majesty Samuels, is concerned, she requested primary physical and joint legal custody of her and sought child support as well as ‘permanent exclusive use’ of the house they used to share as a family.

Safaree was quick to clap back with a filing of his own in which he requested joint custody of the baby girl.

When it comes to this second pregnancy with him, Erica said that Safaree ‘failed to be involved in her care or visit her at the hospital during her most recent stay, where she remained overnight for many days related to her pregnancy.’

She also argued that his request for joint custody was purely for publicity and in order to paint Erica as ‘the instigator.’
