Caitlyn Jenner‘s views have always been pretty controversial as far as the LGBTQ community and allies are concerned but this time around, she made her stance as ‘clear’ as possible – she is against transgender girls competing in female sports! Naturally, social media users were not happy to hear this and many argued that Caitlyn is doing a lot of ‘harm’ to already disadvantaged and discriminated young trans kids.
The transgender reality TV star, who has expressed interest in pursuing a political career, argued that it’s not ‘fair’ for transgender girls to participate in female sports.

Before her transition, Caitlyn was famously known as an Olympic gold medalist so she is passionate about this topic.
As for the comments on ‘biological boys’ competing in female sports, she made them while out and about, getting some coffee.
At the time, the TMZ photographers caught up with Caitlyn and asked about it.
The Jenner did not hesitate to make her opinion clear, responding with: ‘This is a question of fairness. That is why I oppose biological boys who are transgender competing in girls’ sports in school. It just is not fair. And we have to protect girls’ sports in schools.’
When asked whether or not this ‘delegitimizes’ the ‘identity’ of trans kids, Caitlyn refused to respond, telling the reporters to ‘have a good day’ before driving away.
Later on, however, she took to social media to address her previous response, stressing once again that she is ‘clear where [she stands.]’
Here are a couple of responses she received to her statement: ‘You’re such a traitor…So we now need to ‘protect girls sports’ from other girls? And fairness? Do you not know how testosterone blockers work?’ / ‘Girls belong in girls’ sports. Trans girls are girls. There’s NO evidence of trans girls outperforming their cis peers. There’s only evidence of them being harassed and harmed by their peers. Drop this, develop your hobbies and spend time NOT doing harm to trans people.’
As mentioned before, Caitlyn is interested in politics, seeking to be elected as governor of California, running against democratic Governor Gavin Newsom in a recall election.
