Will Smith has done it all in life, except for maybe one thing – taking on the highest office in the country – or any office for that matter! That being said, the actor revealed, while on Crooked Media’s Pod Save America that he is not completely ruling out running for president one day!
‘I think for now I’ll let that office get cleaned up a little bit and then I’ll consider that at some point down the line. I absolutely have an opinion, I’m optimistic, I’m hopeful, I believe in understanding between people and I believe in the possibility of harmony. I will certainly do my part, whether it remains artistic or, at some point, ventures into the political arena,’ Will told the host.
This sounds like he is definitely not ruling out a future career in politics!
Furthermore, Will also opened up about his own experience with racism throughout his life and how that’s impacted his whole worldview in general.
He shared that ‘I’ve been called [the n-word] to my face probably five or six times. And fortunately for my psyche, I’ve never been called [n-word] by a smart person. I grew up with the impression that racists and racism were stupid, and they were easy to get around. I just had to be smarter now while they were very dangerous. I had never looked into the eyes of a racist and saw anything that I perceived as intellect.’

Smith has been very involved in educating others on race, his newest attempt being made through the Netflix documentary, Amend: The Fight for America, which is meant to teach people about the 14th amendment and social justice.
Smith narrates the documentary but he is also involved as one of the executive producers.
Would you like to see Will Smith become the POTUS one day? Would you vote for him if he really decided to run for office?
