Jon Gosselin revealed that the kids that live with their mom, Kate, did not even reach out to him after testing positive for COVID-19! That’s right, the man seems to still have a very strained relationship with most of his offspring, with the exception of the two that live with him, Collin and Hannah!
In a preview for The Dr. Oz Show, the host asks if Jon had heard from his young ones, be it the ones still living at home with their mom Kate, or the older ones who are now in college.
He even mentioned that he was asking this in the context that it was publicly reported Jon was ‘deathly ill’ and ‘could’ve died’ after contracting the virus.
In response, the father of 8 sad that ‘No, I did not hear from them. I think Hannah might’ve told Leah…No, I have not heard anything from them. There’s just a disconnect. Whether it is parent alienation, I cannot really reach out to them and there’s legalities. I can’t go where they move, it would be trespassing.’
Jon used this opportunity to send them a video message, in hopes of establishing contact.
‘I guess my plight to them or what I truly want to say is that I love you, my door’s always open, you are welcome anytime, there’s no regrets or hard feelings or any of those negative things. You can come see me or Hannah and Collin, always.’
As fans know, Jon and Kate share 20 year old twin daughters and 16 year old sextuplets!
At this time, the man has custody of only Collin and Hannah, having no contact with the other six.
This has seemingly been the case ever since their divorce in 2009.
Back in January, Jon revealed on the same show that he was close to being put on a ventilator, needed a wheelchair and more, sharing just how scary his COVID-19 diagnosis was.
