Governor Andrew Cuomo is planning to legalize the adult use of recreational cannabis in NYC. This obviously triggered all kinds of reactions from people.

Check out what The Shade Room has to say about everything.

According to his tweet, the move is an effort to raise revenue and ‘end failed prohibition of this product that has left so many communities of color over-policed and over-incarcerated.’

According to the notes coming from TSR, Gov. Cuomo’s office said ‘a new body would oversee the state’s adult-use program, according to The Hill.’

More than that, it’s been revealed that ‘with overseeing existing medical and cannabinoid hemp programs, this new body would also give an equitable structure for the adult-use market that will be created by offering licensing opportunities and assistance to entrepreneurs in the communities of color.’

A follower said: ‘And let all those prisoners for marijuana out,’ and someone else posted this: ‘So Georgia gon be last huh.’

A person responded and said: ‘No, Indiana is gonna be last. Indiana flat out refuses to get with the times. Super conservative state. It’s kinda stupid…lol.’

He also had a message about what’s been going on in the US during the past days. Check out his tweet below.

Someone said: ‘Thank u 4 this, Andrew. Whats transpired 2day was both shocking &horrific. That something like this can happen is terrifying. Trump needs 2 b removed at once&every person involved should b prosecuted. This is an attempted coup, insurrection&treason. Hearing from u gave me comfort.’

A commenter posted this: ‘I’m so tired of the hypocrisy. I in no way, agree with what happened today. But, when NYC was being destroyed, that was not being condemned by you, the mayor, or your brother’s team on CNN.’

What do you think about what Cuomo plans to do in the near future?
