The publication claims the 27-year-old woman typically takes pictures of her art, and on Tuesday, she shared a rare photo of herself donning a black hat and jacket. The artist wrote in the caption of her photo that “all that glitters is gold,” before going on to joke that it was just an “Instagram filter.”
Reportedly, Tom and Nicole adopted Bella in 1992 when they were still a couple. Three years later, Connor joined the family. According to various news reports, Bella and Connor are practicing members of Scientology, and they don’t have the greatest relationships with Kidman.
According to Page Six, Kidman never went to the artist’s 2015 wedding to the computer programmer, Max Parker, in London, United Kingdom. Bella and Connor’s relationship with their mom has been explored once already in Leah Remini’s book, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.
Remini said she once spoke to Bella and Connor about their mother while riding in a taxi. Bella said to Leah that she only saw her if she didn’t have a choice, describing her mother as an “SP,” which is an acronym for the Scientology term, “Suppressive Person.”
Previously, in 2018, Kidman touched on her relationship with her two children. The Big Little Lies alum explained how both of them were “adults,” and they had chosen to be a part of the Church for Scientology, and it’s her job as a parent to love them no matter what.
Rumor has it Nicole Kidman isn’t a big fan of the Church and hasn’t been for years. A report from December of last year claimed the Church of Scientology had once tried to tap the actress’ phone amid her split with Tom Cruise.
The Daily Beast says Tom Cruise once considered leaving the organization before he stirred controversy for his interview with Matt Lauer, in addition to his Oprah Winfrey Show appearence in which he jumped on the couch.
The report said Nicole played a crucial role in Tom’s temporary exit from the organization, however, he later got back involved and it strained his relationship with the Australian actress.
