Miley Cyrus performed a cover of the Beatles’ classic song “Help” at the Global Goal: Unite For Our Future concert. Dwayne Johnson hosted the event that saw celebrities and political leaders speaking out to the public about the importance of working together and utilizing new strategies to combat the Coronaovirus pandemic. Miley’s choice of song was perfect and while she performed solo in the Rose Bowl Stadium she stunned while wearing a teal-colored Alexandre Vauthier gown.
It was sobering for many to see Miley Cyrus standing alone in a stadium that just a year ago would have been jam-packed to see celebrity performances. Now, celebrities sing their hearts out to empty stadiums or online, from the comfort of their homes while social distancing from others.
This fact wasn’t lost on Miley who began her performance with a message of dedication. It reads as follows.
“Dedicated to those who are tirelessly working on testing, treatment, and vaccines so all of us can come to places like this empty stadium again…”
Though the song was viewed as a cry for help during these troubling times, Miley’s performance received rave reviews and fans were in awe of her gown.
Miley wore an Alexander Vauthier Couture gown from Spring 2020 in a deep, teal color that features a cut-out section in the midriff and one sleeve. The dress is reminiscent of Grecian goddesses and Miley was gorgeous in the outfit. Miley has been wearing her hair in a modern mullet, and the easy cut is virtually maintenance-free.
