Kanye West has always been the type of artist who has fancied himself as an innovator, and many people around the world would agree. These days, the rapper-turned-gospel-performer has a new project coming out involving Dr. Dre.
According to Hot New Hip Hop, the artist has a new sequel to Jesus is King in the works in which he’ll work alongside Dr. Dre. In addition to this exciting news, Kanye revealed earlier this week that he and Kid Cudi were getting their own animated show based on their project from 2018.
Kid Cudi dropped a brand new trailer for the series, directed by Takashi Murakami, and in the new cartoon, Kanye and Kid Cudi will voice cartoon animals by the name of Kid Fox and Kanye Bear. Moreover, Kanye was on his Twitter account to announce the aforementioned project involving Dr. Dre.
Furthermore, Kanye announced that his Jesus is King film that was released in IMAX theaters this past October will be released digitally on Apple Music sometime soon.

If there is one thing that is for certain, it’s that Kanye has his hands in many pies. Not only is he an influential rapper, but his Yeezy collaboration with Adidas has been a fan favorite for a long time now.
Kanye’s family as well, including the Kardashian-Jenner clan, has an equal influence on the popular culture with their massive social media followings and reality TV series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
With all that in consideration, Kanye has come under fire many times during his career, mostly for his choice of words but also for his political views. The rapper sparked massive controversy in the entertainment industry when he came out as a Trump supporter.
The rapper once appeared on Saturday Night Live and called into question the idea behind black Americans not being able to vote for the party they choose. Kanye, among many others, have argued that black Americans are often encouraged to vote for the Democrats, and are sometimes ostracized or vilified if they’re Republicans.
Stars such as Chance The Rapper and Terry Crews have made similar comments.
