Jenelle Evans, despite her recent divorce from David Eason earlier this year, is sharing gratitude during this year’s Thanksgiving holidays. Following her split from David, the Teen Mom alum posted a tribute to her children.
The 27-year-old Teen Mom 2 alum gave thanks for her family, her kids, and finally feeling at peace with herself. As fans of the reality star know, Evans has a 2-year-old daughter with Eason named Ensley.
Additionally, Jenelle shares another son with Nathan Griffith, and Jace, 10, with Andrew Lewis, whom she formerly dated. As it was previously reported, Jenelle revealed she had filed for divorce from David back in October of this year.
They got married back in September of 2017. On the 31st of October, Jenelle shared that after taking some time off from the reality series that made her famous, she began to realize a change was necessary for her life. For that reason, she filed for divorce.
Evans shared on her account that she never had divorce in mind when she first got married to David, however, after some time, she realized it was the best decision to make for herself as well as their children together.
Reportedly, the straw that broke the camel’s back was the killing of the dog they shared, Nugget. MTV had to fire Evans from the show as a consequence. Moreover, they also lost custody of their three children, Maryssa, Ensley, and Kaiser. A source who spoke with Us Magazine stated the divorce was coming anyway.
The insider shared that David was doing his best to act right in a court of law to get their kids back, however, when he was done with the trial, he was on his best behavior again. On the 4th of November, Jenelle filed a restraining order against her ex-husband as well.
David took to his social media account and stated he had to file a missing person’s report due to the fact he hadn’t seen his daughter in five days. David and Ensley got together again later, however, and he said on his social media that he couldn’t wait to go hunting with her.
